In March 2020, Elu Technologies was presented the opportunity to enhance its ability to deliver the installation of data networks in Southern Africa through the acquisition of Proef.
Proef has been developing and implementing integrated and innovative solutions, mainly in the area of mobile networks and offers an integrated turnkey solution to its clients from the design and implementation stage to the operation and maintenance stage, supported by their technical know-how, which has been developed over more than 35 years of experience.

TERENCE GOVENDER
ELU Group | CEO
A driven entrepreneur having successfully developed Renewable Energy projects in South Africa and Africa. With projects completed throughout Africa, Terence has a passion to improve energy access across the continent using Innovation in technology. He has developed over 10 000 Mega Watts in pipeline projects and seen over 250 Mega Watts of projects from development to operation. He has commissioned various domestic and commercial / industrial projects to date.
He also is the chairman of the South African Renewable Energy Council SAREC (www.sarec.org.za) as well as the founding member and chairman of the Solar Thermal Association of Southern Africa (STASA).

INDIRAN PILLAY
ELU Group | Director
Indiran has overseen and managed the Finance, Operational, Human Resources and Business Development activities on behalf of the Kuaji and Elu Group of Companies. Indiran has also been the Managing Director of the group’s operational assets in one of the largest Public Private Partnerships in South Africa, a 3024 bed Private Prison in Makhado, Limpopo.
The portfolio of assets currently range from Infrastructure to Financial Advisory. The Group currently has an interest in 3 Renewable Energy Power generation companies and Indiran has been involved in the development, construction and operational stages of these Projects. Indiran currently serves as the Chairman and Director of the Boards of various companies in a non-executive capacity. Indiran has a vast amount of experience in Structured, Corporate and Project Finance transactions.
